Accelerated Reader Program Book Lists

Book list sorted by level

Book list sorted by Author

Book list sorted by Title

Dear Parents and Students: When you open the links above, you will see long lists of books by title, author, reading level. There is a lot of information reading across the top line. The important parts are:

BL - Book Level - on the sheet that you received, you have the range of your child's reading level. To begin with, choose books that are in this range.

IL - Interest Level - when we have students that are more than a year ahead or behind, it may be important to look at the interest level. LG - Lower Grades (K-2) ; MG - Middle Grades (2-4); UG - Upper Grades(4-6).

Pts. - Points - These are the points the child can earn if he/she successfully completes the quiz on the computer. As children finish a book, during library time, computer time and in the classroom, they will have the opportunity to complete a quiz about the book. It is important that they pay attention to what they are reading and not race through the books.
